In 2012, ECCO and VisitDenmark launched a joined campaign "Experience ECCO – Discover Scandinavia". The campaign's objective was to launch ECCO's new spring/summer collection in their stores with the aim of strengthening their brand positioning through a focus on Danish design, lifestyle and Denmark as a travel destination which was aligned with VisitDenmark's objective of increasing awareness of Denmark as a travel destination. 
The campaign took advantage of the synergies between the two brands' brandingvalues (quality, peace of mind, freedom, sustainability) and became the focal point for all campaign communication.
